CO-Gas Safety is an independent registered charity which works to try to reduce accidents from Carbon Monoxide (CO) poisoning and other gas dangers. We lobby for changes, which will help to achieve this. We also help and advise victims whenever we can.

Answers to "Sources of CO in the kitchen etc".

1. Boiler
2. Cooker
3. Fire (with the cat curled up in front of it)
4. Generator in the garage
5. Car

Please note that the electric fire would not burn anything so would not emit CO. There has been one case of CO from an electric night storage heater due to a blanket being put behind it and getting so hot it started to smoulder and burn.
