Talking to the Press

'If you have lost a loved one, we have probably heard of your case through the media, although it may be that you have just contacted us. Before you talk to the media or before you talk further, you may wish to read the following:

Please note that we think it is unwise to give out your contact details to the media because these can be sent on to other media outlets.

If you wish us to act as a buffer between you and the media we would be happy to do so. We prefer to have one policy which is that we tell you the names and media people who want to contact you to allow you to make those contacts yourself, because this means that you retain total control.'
